Our church embraces 12 truths as a statement of faith. 

 

 

1. Salvation – through Jesus Christ who provides the supreme sacrifice for sin. (John 3:3, 16, 17; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8, 9)

2. Baptism – in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance – for empowered spirit filled living (Acts 1:8; 2:4,17,18, 38, 39)

3. Divine Healing – for the sick provided through Christ’s atoning death and resurrection (James 5:14-16) 

​

​

4. The Second Coming of Christ – when He returns for all who have accepted Him (1Thessalonians 4:16, 17; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52)

5. Holiness is God’s standard of living for his people. Without holiness, no man shall see God. (Hebrews 12:14) 

​

 

6. Verbal inspiration of the Bible- Holy men of God spoke as the Holy Ghost moved them. (2 Peter 1:21) 

​

 

7. In one God eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7) 

​

 

8. In water Baptism by immersion (they gladly received his words were baptized (Acts 2: 41-42) 

​

 

9. Sanctification is the process, which, according to the will of God, make us partakers of His holiness; that it is a progressive work. (Philippians 2:12, 13; I John 3:2, 3) 

​

 

10. The Lord's Supper and washing of the Saints feet is a reminder of Christ sacrifice and humility (I Corinthians 11: 23-32) 

​

 

11. Justification, Regeneration, and the new birth are wrought through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:21-26; 5:1, 9:8:1, I Thessalonians. 4:3-8; John 17: 17-19; Philippians 2:12, 13; I John 3:2, 3).

12. The resurrection – eternal life is for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked. (John 5:28-29; I Thessalonians 4:13-16; Revelation 7:9-17; 20:11-15).
